Zaina Zahra literally means "beautiful flower" when translated from the Arabic.
 An Oriental Dance Artist, Choreographer, and Instructor, Zaina was first introduced to Bellydancing  at the Nazeem Allayl School of Bellydance in Atlanta GA. There her first and most beloved teacher, Samora, introduced Zaina to lower body isolations, which was a fascinating and body changing experience. From there, Zaina studied veil choreography, zill technique, and sword balancing.  Instruction afterwards focused on self-meditation, reading, and taking random classes with instructors of various styles and backgrounds.
Zaina Zahra expanded her dance experience by taking up Indian Dancing at the Nritya Natya Kala Bharti school of Classical Dance. Under the instruction of Divya, Zaina learned the basics of Indian Kathak Dance and Bollywood choreographies that enhanced her dance program.
Workshops were taken from world renowed Tito Seif of Egypt,Mahamoud Reda, Amira Mor of NY, Ranya Renee of New York, and Rania Bossoni (former Bellydance Superstar) .

The Bellydance Workshop course features a two-three hour instructional period to teach a specific choreography to a piece of music and/or specific isolations and/or technique. Workshops are a great way to learn choreographies or special skills outside of regular class.

Learning a workshop choreography is the first step to performing! There will be performance opportunities for eligible students throughout the year!

In order to perform you must take the choreography workshop and attend all practices before the show. Costume purchase is also a requirement. You will learn more information once show are planned.
